Shave for Dani

A month or so back I found out that a friend I know through the country music circuit had been diagnosed with cancer and wanted to do something to help. So I’ve decided to shave my beard off and try and raise some money to go towards any expenses Dani may need.

Dani is only 23 and had 6 months left in her teaching degree. She was feeling unwell and ended up in hospital where they drained 4 litres of fluid off her lung. She mentioned a lump on her neck which was completely unrelated but they wanted to check it. Four days later she was diagnosed with advanced lymphoma cancer. Dani has two and a half years of treatment ahead of her. She is undergoing intensive chemotherapy and regular blood transfusions. Dani truely is in a fight for her life.
