Well, the shave went ahead last Friday night, with over $5,500 being raised for the Paroli family. Sam, Andy and Liam would like to thank every one who donated; your support is so appreciated. I'm astounded and humbled by the $2, 200 raised on this page with 2 days until it closes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Tomorrow is the big day, so today is my last full day until my hair comes off! I'm super close to reaching my fundraising target of $2000; thank you SO much to all those who have donated. The page is open for a little bit longer so there's still time to get me over the edge and raise as much as possible for this family who are really doing it tough right now. Feeling so grateful for all the support from friends, whanau and the community. You all rock! I'm only about $300 from my goal now, which is unbelievable given we had a lockdown in the middle of my campaign. Obviously this event can't take place under level 3. As soon as we have some certainty over levels, a new date will be set. Rest assured, the shave WILL happen!
Because we are in level 4, the headshave event obviously won't go ahead this Friday. We are working on getting a new date ASAP and will keep you posted.
In the meantime, Liam's chemotherapy and radiation treatment continues.
