Shave Stew to save Kiwi blokes

  • Update for 09/09/2013

      9 September 2013

I would like to thank you all for all the hugely generous donations to Bowel Cancer Aoteroa. Your amazing efforts have managed to raise a total of $ 6050 dollars so far. I have been totally bowled over by all of the kind words and encouragement. Once again thank you all and give yourselves a big pat on the back. I will close the cause at the end of this week and transfer the money to the Charity so if anyone still wants to contribute please feel free ?

Thanks to everyone who helped to make the head shave a great success last night- Pictures here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10201323859831263.1073741828.1016051934&type=1&l=d161a2e0b8 . And for Fonterra people I think there may be a copy of the video floating around. An especially big thank you Naomi and Jonathan for also volunteering their hair for a great cause. We raised another $450 at the time. I am sure there will be lots of well coiffured Voodoo Stew dolls kicking about now. Congratulations to Helen Ward, Phil Hewiston and Rehan Shaikh who won the blind auction for the Warriors passes. Letfs hope you bring the boys more luck than I normally do.

Wow! I can't believe how generous everyone is being. We have already raised enough to allow Beat bowel cancer to provide screening for over 30 people in the target group. Which by my reckoning and looking at the statistics may well be at least one life saved via early diagnosis. Thanks you again for the contributions and kind words and thoughts
