St Josephs School teachers are having their very own shave off session to support members of their school community fighting cancer.
Wellington
We have an amazing school community who support us in all we do at. Sadly, we currently have a number of children, parents and staff members who are undergoing treatment as part of their personal battle with cancer.
Thats why the male teaching staff, including the big boss, have decided to lose their locks in an attempt to raise a little funds for our community members in need.
Our shave of session will take place on Friday 15th May at 2:00pm live from the school hall. Please give a little and come along and join in the event.
NOTE: The funds raised as part of this cause will not be used for the purchasing of equipment for our school. All money will be donated to people within our school community.
We're involved because we want to do our little bit to show how much we care for the children, parents, caregivers and staff who we work with each and every day.
Saint Joseph’s Catholic School
Tena koe, nau mai, haere mai.
St Joseph's Catholic School is situated in the heart of Upper Hutt and caters for students from years 1-8. We are committed to fostering and maintaining our school's special character.
Being a catholic school we have a strong set of values at the heart of our catholic faith and it is these that help guide our decision making at all levels throughout the school.
We aim to prepare our students to become lifelong learners and to equip them with the skills and values they require to be positive and contributing members of their community.
