Help Sacha to become the first shearer in modern history to hold both pinnacle 9-hour Shearing World Records.
Te Anau, Southland
I am helping to organize 2 huge woman's shearing events in December and again in February. As a team, we are aiming to help Sacha Bond break two shearing world records in the space of 8 weeks. The first attempt is on December 19th 2023 for the Women’s 9-Hour Strong Wool Lamb record, then again on February 9th 2024, for the Women’s 9-Hour Strong Wool Ewe shearing record. Both will be held at Centrehill Station, Southland. These will be Sacha’s second and third record attempts, with the first one being successful when she broke the Women’s 8-Hour Strong Wool Lamb shearing record by a whopping 91 sheep in February of this year when she shore 601 lambs.
Big dreams require a large amount of financial help, and we are needing to raise around $45,000 to fund both events. All money raised through this page will go directly to costs directly involved with both attempts. These include record fees, accommodation, feeding the team of volunteers and officials, and travel for team members to get there to name a few.
Any support is welcome and greatly appreciated if you would like to support Sacha in her bid to become the first shearer in modern history to hold both 9-hour ewe and lamb records at the same time.
You can follow her progress and get updates from Sacha on Facebook

Thanks in advance for your amazing support.
Sacha asked me to help manage her first attempt back in February this year. She has become a good mate and when she asked to help her out again this time around, I did not hesitate.
Any money raised will go directly to costs related to both attempts. These include fees, accommodation, travel and food for officials and volunteers.
