THE ROAD TO RECOVERY
1 May 2023It has now been 5 months since Sheree had her disc replacement surgery. As expected it has been a slow but generally steady road to recovery with quite a way to go yet until she can get back to being able to return to work and hopefully have a fully active life. Unfortunately she has had a couple of serious setbacks with DVT and a pulmonary embolism but she has battled on. To quantify her progress at this point, she says she is feeling about 30% better than she did before the surgery. Her dedication to recommended physical therapies including hydrotherapy are helping her to regain her strength and fitness. She still has times where she experiences severe pain and has to remain careful not to attempt to do too much. We will remain forever grateful to you all for your generosity. It has made a huge difference to us in helping towards the cost of Sheree’s surgery and the ongoing costs of her rehabilitation therapy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
