Sheryl is really struggling with a sense of hope and one part of hope is this Give A Little campaign. She is is referred towards some new treatments that are quite expensive so we are definitely keeping this campaign live to keep Sheryl hopeful, and more practically help make these treatments a reality. Help if you can.
We feel we need to give our wonderful Givealittle helpers another update. Sheryl has been home since Sunday evening and it is fair to say the transition to home has been challenging for her. Also challenging, is the massive change coming from 13 weeks in wrap around care at Ashburn Clinic, back into a situation where we are gradually rebuilding, and making new connections with the various options for care, counselling, psychiatry and , well, the complex list goes on. We have spoken as a family and have decided to keep our campaign open until we have a clearer understanding if Sheryl will be taken into the care of the public mental health system, even then we may need to fund some in home care as Sheryl is not really ready to be left alone for any significant period of time. We hope our donors, or possible future donors can understand this difficult situation we are navigating. Thanks to all, Richard and Sheryl
Once again, a massive thank you from Sheryl and I for all of your generosity and we are sincerely grateful, more than you would believe. We have quite a major update. On Sunday 13th September, Sheryl is coming home. We have elected to keep our campaign running to assist with the approx. $60k of costs that will be incurred for Ashburn, but also to help with care in our home for Sheryl and for therapy, ongoing in CHCH. We hope all whom have donated will understand this changing situation
