To help Barbara replace her stolen car and get her son a gravestone
Bay of Plenty
On the 19 march my friend barbara got the visit noone wants. It was the police letting her know her 16 year old had drowned whilst snorkeling on a school trip. Planning a funeral through lockdown level 2 was so tough but barbara pushed through. Dealing with her grief has been hard but she held on to hope. Hope that when the lockdown was over she could get away for abit but then two weeks ago somebody decided they needed her car more than her and stole it.
Yes it was recovered but it was wrecked yes she has insurance but sadly after the excess and premiums they are only going to give her 1600 this will not be enough to get a decent car. To top it off she has to pay for her son's memorial 6 months in advance..so this is why I have created this page to hopefully help ease her burden and help her get a decent car and maybe put something towards her son's memorial..every little bit counts hey
Barbara has been my number one supporter through my recovery we are like family and now it's my turn to help her out
It will be spent on a new car for Barbara as we all as helping towards her son's memorial and if we are really lucky being able to pay for the whole memorial..if things dont go to plan at least we will be able to give her something to help her get her car
She is mobile yay but we still need help. 30 July 2020
Hey everyone thank you so much for all your support the money raised so far has gotten Barbara mobile again she has brought her a lovely little Wil Cypha to run around in. Please everyone we still need your help to get young Ethan's gravestone before his memorial in February..The reason for the urgency is that the gravestone has to paid for 6 months in advance to give the makers time to prepay the stone. Please help Barbara achieve this goal let's not leave Ethan in an unmarked grave
