Wear shorts on the shortest day of the year and donate towards North Haven Hospice specialist care and support for the dying and bereaved.
Northland
Shorts for Hospice is on Monday 21st, the winter solstice aka the SHORTEST DAY OF THE YEAR!
So yeah it’ll be mid-winter, but dig out your summer clothes and find some colourful shorts to wear and make a donation to support North Haven Hospice's specialist palliative care for local people and support for their families/whanau.
Wherever you happen to be on Monday, wear shorts and donate ... or donate instead of wearing to have shorts (we don't really mind). Either way, we and our patients and their families/whanau are grateful for your support and generosity.
And, please send us photos of you in your shorts (no obligation) for us to share on our Facebook page to share the fun! You can message them to our page or email to fundraising@northhavenhospice.org.nz ... LIFE IS SHORT. LIVE EVERY MOMENT!
Specialist palliative care for people of any age and with any life-limiting condition, and support for their families/whanau. There is no charge for our service, available to anyone of any age who lives in the Whangarei District or south-east Kaipara.
We need to fundraise $36,500 every week! Every dollar raised in our service area, stays here; supporting what is an essential health service for local people facing the end of life and during bereavement.
