Showing Karen that we care
Karen lost everything in devastating fire on 28th December.
Timberlea, Upper Hutt
I can not imagine being in the situation of losing everything but yet that is what's happened to our amazing friend Karen Lowe.
This wonderful humble lady is grateful to be alive after a devastating fire takes everything she owns. House, car, phone, all her worldly possessions.....gone.
Although fully insured she is going to need funds to help get her back on her feet.
Lets show her that the community cares and help us help her rebuild her life. She has lived in Timberlea for 10 years and given lots to the community now its our chance to give back.

Karen and I have been friends for 3 years as part of a local community group that she volunteered for along with other community groups she was involved in.
Use of funds
Karens immediate need is clothes and personnel items. Moving forward basically although she was fully insured it will not cover the cost of starting again.

I have decided after the devastation around New Zealand in the last few weeks I have decided to share future donations to Animal Evac NZ to support them in the huge work they are doing right now to bring as many Fur-Babies, pets & stock home
