Simba needs your help please

    Stitches out. Still on pain relief, and short walks only. No jumping allowed and hes doing really well resisting the temptation .he does do the odd jump But it's to be expected. looks funny with his little chicken leg. But the fur has started to grow back. I have to say Simbas very quick on 3 legs. I'm still trying to get more funds so please if you could share his page I'd really appreciate it. Photo of his scar. Very neat. Very impressed with Richard's stitching. Looking very good. Love to all.

    It will be 2 weeks on Tuesday since Simba had is op. Stitches come out in 2 days. Has had little walks around the drive, hobbles very well on 3 legs now.

    best of all no biting of stitches or licking.

    needless to say, he has been lapping up mum carrying him when we go out. I know I have asked many times, but please If you could share his story id really appreciate it. thank you

    We finally got his op done on tuesday. All went well. Did the 3 day follow up. Temp slightly up, off his food. Very lethargic. Antibiotics prescribed, back again saturday. For the first time ever I'm struggling to get meds into him. Hes even turned down ice cream. Simba never says no to ice cream. Oh please excuse the slight nudity but it couldnt be helped. Woofs to u all. Simba

    Well,, it's the eve of Simbas op, and not before time, the poor boy has really been favoring that leg. mixed feelings for me pleased he is getting it done, but also mean as it's going to be painful for a bit. he is so tiny. I will update you all tomorrow, again thank you for helping, your all amazing people.

  • countdown to operation.

    Spoke with vet that's doing Simbas knee. After examination turns out both knees need doing. Left one is the worst so getting that done first. All going well he is booked in for 8th October. I know he will be fine and everything will go well. But I'm fretting a little. Poor wee boy.

    Again thank you to all that have helped. Please share Simbas page. As we have a way to go yet.

  • Update on eye

    We were back at the vets as his eye was still slightly bigger. Thyroid has come down. Few more days on antibiotics. And it seems to have worked. Yay. Next step knee op.

    Back at the vets today, we have a slightly enlarged thyroid, and his left eye is bulging a little.

    A dose of antibiotics and fingers crossed we will see some improvement if not all better. Simba was going in for his surgery next week, but that's on hold until he is better.
