Skin cancer treatment
Mum needs to have 2 skin cancers removed and a full skin check/map. She is not likely to be seen by public health for at least 6 months.

Mum has had a stroke and been in a rest home in hastings for the past 2 years. She is 77 and still enjoys life a lot.
Three months ago I brought mum up to a rest home in Tauranga so I could take better care of her.
She has sleepovers at my house on friday nights, so i have been doing her cares. It was then that i noticed the spots.
I paid for a consult at the skin clinic and she has skin cancer. Because it is not melanoma, but basal cell carcinomas it is unlikely she will be seen by the public system for at least 6 months.
The carcinoma on her hand is causing her considerable pain and discomfort. It also has to be covered as it weeps a lot. The specialist thinks it has likely been there for at least 18 months.
