Skye needs your help.

Skye is my sister. And she needs our help.

Skye is currently in hospital.

Her battle with her bowel and intestinal health came to crisis point nine years ago and resulted in multiple major surgeries, and also saw her have a c-section at 31 weeks. She was in hospital for over 6 months, away from her daughter and new born premature son. Her experience there was horrific and haunting for all of us.

It hasn’t been an easy nine years. She suffers daily, but does her best to keep well. She has a very specific diet and is reliant on a number of supplements. But that doesn’t come cheap. Especially for a single mum.

Regardless of her amazing diet, suppements, yoga and mediation, Skye’s battle has magnified, and she is now back in hospital. Her pain is horrendous and she is very afraid. We are all so afraid of what this could mean.

My family need my sister well. Her kids especially need their mum.

We are desperate for an MRI scan, but as you may know, there is a lot of red tape around these procedures and we really feel this process is taking too long. We’d like to pay for Skye to have an MRI so we can get some answers and not leave her suffering while we wait for a box to be ticked. This test would offer Skye the peace of mind she needs as she’s living in fear of the unknown.

Additional to the MRI, I am fundraising for Skye so that when she DOES come home, she can have the food and supplements she needs. These are the tools that have kept her out of hospital in the past.

It’s Christmas and I’d do anything to have to her home.

She’s so kind and caring of others, a romantic at heart, loves Disney, she’s a yoga teacher, loves animals and art. She’s an amazing Aunty to my two children and of course she’s a wonderful mama to her two children, who are just heartbroken seeing their mum like this.
