All proceeds will go directly to Sha and whānau to help cover Smackies Chemotherapy costs.
Auckland
As you know, our pets aren't just pets, they are FAMILY.
I know times are tough due to unforeseen circumstances (COVID and Lockdown). I don't ask for much if anything at all and if i could, I would use all Alex's money (but i can't LOL). Therefore, i am here asking if you could koha anything, great or small, for my Maruariki-Hunt whānau.
Smackie was diagnosed with Multi-Centric Lymphoma on the 28 October 2021. Lymphoma is a common cancer found in dogs of many breeds and in Smackies case, it is in his abdominal area.
As you can imagine, hearing this news was devastating.
Sha made the call for Smackie to start Chemotherapy ASAP on Thursday. Chemo on its own is costly and on top of that, there's consult fees and medications eg. steroids and anti-nausea tablets. This whānau, is where your koha is greatly needed.
If you have not yet met Smackie, I can tell you he is a handsome and beautiful natured boy, who longs for nothing more than your gentle touch.
Please help, so Smackie can stay here with us!
Natasha is my niece, someone we know who goes out of her way for whānau, friends and fur babies.
Your koha will be used to help cover the chemo and medical costs incurred to extend the longevity and quality of Smackies life.
