Snells beach Rd house fire

A fire burnt through the downstairs house of a snells beach family home. The fire was caused by fireworks being let off around 1am on Friday night. The garage door was slightly open for the cat. It seems a roman candle found at the scene had gone off into the garage. At 2:30am the smoke detectors alerted upstairs. Robert alerted the household and made his way downstairs to rescue his sleeping son. As his bedroom is downstairs where the fire started. Ash surrounds a white silhouette where he lay. Thankfully no one was hurt. The pets were taken to the vets. Robert has lost everything he owns and his son is staying with mum until he finds and sets up a new home. This is a rental property and Robert has no contents insurance. I am requesting the community to pull together and fundraise some money for Robert to rebuild his life. We don't know who was letting of the fireworks but they should know they nearly killed someone and destroyed everything that that this man owns.
