A solo mother with a seven month old baby was affected by last Sunday's house fire in Wellington.
Wellington
Our friend Rebecca was one of the tenants living at the Wellington flat which burnt down on Sunday.
Rebecca is a solo mother with a seven month old baby, Frankie. Both Rebecca and Frankie lost everything in the fire and now have to rebuild their live. All is gone - their clothing, baby gear, photos, laptop, and personal items.
Unfortunately they did not have insurance.
At this stage we don't know what caused the fire. This is being investigated by the Fire Service. Fortunately Rebecca and her baby were out of the house when the fire broke out and were safe. There were two others in the property at the time - both escaped safely.
We are very thankful that no one was hurt or injured.
We have decided to set up this Givealittle page to see if we can assist Rebecca and Frankie. Even if you are not in a position to help financially, any babyware or home ware items would be appreciated (Frankie, while 7 months, is at one year old sizes). Please message me on here and I can put you in touch with Rebecca.
Details of the fire have been reported widely in the press.

We appreciate any help you can provide.
I am a friend of Rebecca's.
For Rebecca to purchase new baby equipment and clothing for 7 month old Frankie. Rebecca is also studying towards a Masters. We hope to raise money for a replacement laptop. Any surplus funds will be given to Rebecca to help rebuild their lives.
