Someone Cares Southland – 2024 Christmas Dinner for those who are alone

At Someone Cares Southland, we believe that everyone deserves to feel valued and cared for, especially during the holiday season. This year, our goal is to provide a warm, festive Christmas dinner for individuals who will be spending Christmas Day alone. We aim to welcome 100 guests to this special gathering, and your support will help make this vision a reality.

We are thrilled to announce that the Invercargill Christian Centre has generously donated their venue to host the event, and we’re grateful to them for their kindness. A dedicated group of volunteers is working hard to ensure that the dinner is a success, and we couldn’t do it without their help.

This dinner is open to those who will be alone on Christmas Day. More details on how to register or nominate someone will be shared soon.

Our founder, Mary, has always been passionate about bringing the community together and supporting those in need. What began as her dream is now a reality, and we are so grateful to all who make this possible.

Your donation, no matter how big or small, will directly contribute to providing a meal and creating a festive atmosphere for those in need.
