Thank you to all you lovely people that contributed to my GAL page and helped me to realise some of my bucket list adventures.

Over the last 8months I have been very busy enjoying life.

We have been on multiple trips, including Lake Tekapo, a dark sky reserve, where we watched the stars from the hot pools. Queenstown my fav town in NZ. Lake Hawea where I met some of Glenn's family for the first time. Whale watching from a plane in Kaikoura, spotting several Sperm Whales.

Steve and I have also just come back from a Tiki Tour around the North Island.

My amazingly brave sister, Dawn faced her fear of flying and came to NZ from the UK so we could spend some precious much needed time together.

Our life long friend Phil also came over from the UK with his fiancé Jane, & surprised us by getting married, with Steve as the best man.

Both of their trips also coincided with a proud moment in my life - My Daughter Emily's Wedding. A fantastic, beautiful day. I am very grateful to Em & Glenn for pulling the wedding together in such sort notice so I could attend.

In terms of my health, I am doing pretty well. Chemo has been going well & luckily not making me very sick! but I do get tired quickly & have obsessiveness over things. I can now also borrow Emily's clothes for the first time & fit them!

Next weekend is my birthday & I'm looking forward to spending it with my whole family in Hokitika! I've still got more in me and I'm looking forward to the future.

    love Lyn xxx

  • Thank you!

      3 February 2023

On behalf of Linda and our family, we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that has sent us love, support and donations. We are blown away with everyone kindness.

We are yet to fully decided what some of the money will be spent on, These last two weeks have been about having family time and mum resting/recovering after surgery.

However mum has begun a 'bucket list' which we will share soon along with and setting a 'target' amount we hope to reach to support this list.

Mums first oncology appt is mid Feb so after that we will also have some more updates...
