Sophia's trip to the Future Problem Solving International Competition in America

Sophia's school team won the national competition and the opportunity to travel to America in June to represent New Zealand at the Future Problem Solving International Competition. She needs some help to raise enough funds to cover the cost of the trip. The trip will cost approximately $8,000, and we have asked Sophia to raise half. She will also be involved in other fundraising activities with her team, and on her own.

A huge thank you to all Sophia's generous donors. We really appreciate it. With the give-a-little page and blog, many weekends of door knocking and washing cars, and the group fundraising efforts, Sophia managed to raise $7,000 out of the $8,000 it has cost to send her to the States. She flew out of Christchurch yesterday with her team, and they have just landed in New York.
