Sophie’s trip to Kazakhstan

Hi I’m Sophie and I’m a year 13 student from Hawke’s Bay. I recently won a gold medal at the New Zealand Biology Olympiad program, after working through selection procedures over the past 12 months. This means I will be travelling alongside 3 other students to Kazakhstan to represent New Zealand at the International Biology Olympiad. I’m super excited about this opportunity as it provides a chance to not only compete but to also network with so many other up and coming young scientists from around the globe. As you can imagine, this trip is quite costly so I am currently reaching out to the community to anyone who is able to support me financially. Any small donation helps.
