Help me build a soundproof home

Hi, my name is Diana, and I'm allergic to noise.

Technically, I have a condition called Acoustic Shock Disorder as the result of an accident while working in Australia five years ago.

This means I'm unable to function around sounds most people don't even notice. Some of the symptoms include continual severe pain, noise induced migraines and my central nervous system going into shock.

I've tried everything from medication to noise therapy, to looking at surgical intervention, but there is no cure! Unfortunately, I can't work because of my illness, which makes saving for a soundproof home impossible.

Finding a suitable rental property - away from railways, schools, main roads, fire & emergency activation sirens or church bells is also pretty hard, so I'm left with the only option of building in the country to alleviate some of the symptoms.

If I had this specialist built home, It would, not only have a huge positive impact on my Acoustic Shock Disorder, but also allow my Auto immune disease to settle a little. This would mean I may be able to get back a little of the life I once had. or at least start to rebuild a new one.

My Total Fundraising Target of $417,900 is made up as follows: Build & Land Cost $398,000, Givealittle Fundraising Fee $19,900

If I am unable to reach my full target, funds will be used for ongoing costs associated with my condition.
