SPAW Trip to provide Veterinary Care to Tongan animals
This December I will be heading to Tonga with a team from UNITEC & SPAW to provide Veterinary care to Tongan pets.

I am very fortunate to have been accepted by UNITEC to head to Tonga with SPAW, to provide desexing, medical care and health care to animals in Tonga.
On December 2nd-10th I will be travelling with a group of Veterinarians, Vet Nurses and Vet Nurse students from UNITEC to provide volunteer veterinary care to Tongan pets and animals. Tonga has no permanent or regular vet care and desexing service, or access to products like flea and worm treatment, so these trips each year are vital to their animals health and well being.
I’m starting from ground zero with my fundraising as of 24 September, so only have a short time period to raise funds so every little bit helps!

Use of funds
The money raised will cover the costs of my volunteering - flights, accommodation, etc. Any extra will be donated to SPAW to purchase medications, and flea and worm treatments for the animals.
