Help Roxie Hop Towards a Happier, Pain-Free Life 🐾❤️

We adopted Roxie in April, believing she had mild cerebellar hypoplasia. Pet insurance was not an option as it excluded most injuries and conditions for her. As she grew, her neurological challenges became more obvious. She has a permanent head tilt, walks in circles, cannot climb stairs or even low steps, and has the cutest little hop instead of a run. Despite everything, she is the happiest puppy who loves hopping after balls and walkies.

One morning, Roxie showed signs of being in terrible pain. After visiting our vet, we were referred to The Referral Centre in Hamilton. Vet Dan explained that Roxie has complex neurological conditions and severe bilateral hip dysplasia. Her conditions make surgery high-risk

Roxie struggled to recover with just pain relief.

After discussing her unique case with veterinary specialists in New Zealand and Australia, Dan offered to perform her complex surgery for just $2,750, reduced from $9,000! We are incredibly grateful and have decided to take this chance for our precious girl. Her surgery is scheduled for 15/10/2026.

But surgery is only the beginning. Roxie needs 12 weeks of rehabilitation, supplements, orthopaedic beds and ongoing veterinary care. We are financing her surgery through savings and would be so grateful for any help with the costs ahead.
