With just over a month left, we’re so grateful to everyone who has donated, shared, and cheered us on. You’re helping cover travel, accommodation, meals, and health checks so our athletes can shine on the national stage.

Great news - our fundraising is going really well!

However, we're still about $10,000 short of our goal with just 66 days until we leave on December 10th. Every dollar counts! 34 Athletes, 7 Sports, 5 Days of Competition, Fun and Inclusiveness – Thanks to You!

So much excitement, entries are in, so fundraising will really need to ramp up!

We’re thrilled to introduce our incredible team heading to the 2025 Special Olympics National Summer Games in Christchurch! 🏅

34 athletes will be proudly representing Special Olympics North Harbour across 7 sports over 5 days of competition, fun, and inclusiveness. Each athlete brings their own story, strength, and spirit—and your support is helping make this unforgettable experience possible.

We’ve added a few photos so you can meet the team and see which sports they’ll be competing in. From swimming to basketball, athletics to bowls, and more, our athletes are ready to shine!

This isn’t our first Nationals—over the past 20 years, we’ve attended multiple Games, each one filled with memories, milestones, and moments of growth. Your donations help us continue this legacy and create new opportunities for our athletes to make lifelong connections and memories to treasure.
