Hi, we just want to post another thank you for all of your kind support. The messages have been heartwarming and were lovely to read as they flowed in over the weekend. Whether they were from people we have never met but were touched by the story, former or current colleagues, patients of Jo's, my beloved St Cuth's girls or friends and relatives we have read and smiled at every one. Love and good health to you all. Leon.

Hi, thanks once again for the generosity you have shown by donating money towards Jo's cause. We feel that it is important to say that the money beyond our target amount will still go towards Jo's speech therapy. As of next week we will be using about $300 a week for lessons and transport to them, so about $15,000 a year. Thanks to your donations this year is covered! :) Unfortunately Jo is unlikely to be 'better' at the end of that year, so nothing that you have already given will go to waste- we'll keep using it for her lessons in 2015 and beyond- until we reach the real goal of getting her back to the profession she loves. P.S. The Herald this weekend is running an article about Jo- check it out on Saturday the 15th of March.

Wow, we never expected this! Thank you so much to everyone for your amazing generosity and touching well-wishes. Jo and I have been on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster in the last few days as we waver between amazement at the spirit of our community and feelings of sadness that we are in the position of needing to ask for help. We were really only expecting immediate friends and colleagues who had expressed a desire to help financially to donate, so getting a sense of the way this touches a wider community is very moving. Thanks again, and as I said in one of the first emails I sent out when Jo first got sick- go out and give your loved ones a big hug and tell them you love them- you just don't know when something horrible can hit and take away that chance. Leon.
