Well, I'm sitting in the airport waiting for my flight to ChCh to meet one of the surgeon's involved in my surgery. He is a vascular surgeon who's job it will be to cut through my front and make a path to the spine. Seems a waste of a full day for a 10 minute appointment but never mind.
Today, I placed an order for very important equipment that will be delivered the week of the surgery.. 2 x walking sticks with swan handles (whatever that is?), a stool for the shower, a gutter walker for later on and the most important piece of all..... The toilet frame.! Pictures to come once its arrived.
Ive also been ordered up to Christchurch for the day of 4th November to meet another one of the surgeon's who will be involved with the operation.

I've been given my date for surgery which is 21st November. Rae and reaghan will come up the following Sunday to see me for a couple of nights before helping me fly home.
