St Pauls Waiwhetu AED Fundraiser

$180 of $3,365 goal
Given by 4 generous donors in 4 weeks

Raising funds for an emergency AED station at St Pauls.

Waiwhetu, Lower Hutt

We're raising funds to purchase and install an emergency AED station which will be available to the community as well as parishioners and visitors.

It will complement other locally available devices thus providing more timely and efficient access in the event that someone has a cardiac emergency needing a defibrillator device. This will significantly increase their survival chances.

An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is a portable, life-saving device that analyses heart rhythm and delivers an electric shock to restore normal heartbeat during sudden cardiac arrest.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
