Stand With Dexter: Help a Kababayan in His Final Days

Dear Kababayan,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help for our fellow Filipino, Dexter Andes, who is in his final days at North Haven Hospice, Whangarei.

Dexter arrived in NZ two years ago on a work visa and worked as a painter in Kerikeri. Earlier this year, he was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer. While there was initial hope for surgery, doctors confirmed the cancer had spread extensively, making treatment impossible.

His employer has been incredibly supportive, even flying his wife, May, from the Philippines just over a week ago, so she can be by his side. They have a blended family of six children back home who are heartbroken.

We humbly ask for your help to support Dexter and May during this time. Your prayers and any donations would make a huge difference.
