Standing with Effie and her family

    Hi all.

    We thought it best to write another update as to how I am doing. Once again a big thank you from myself and my family for the continued love, prayers and support we have received during this time. It truly means a lot and we are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives.

    I have finished my final round of chemo recently (6 in total) and have had another staging scan to check what my tumors are doing. Thankfully I have continued to respond well to chemo with my primary tumor continuing to shrink. I have started radiotherapy in the hopes of further shrinking this primary tumor. Following this I am looking forward to a break from treatment and doing some travel around NZ.

    Once again a heartfelt thank you to each and everyone of you. In amongst all the horrible stuff are people that have been such a blessing.

  • Update on Effie 💛

    We wanted to share an update with everyone who continues to hold Effie and her family so closely.

    Effie has now completed three rounds of chemotherapy, and the early scan results have brought some real relief. The tumour has responded well to treatment, which has eased symptoms and opened up less aggressive options going forward.

    Thank you for standing with them — your kindness and blessings are felt more than you know.
