Stef will have a lot of trials and tribulations. Mark and Stef will have a hard road ahead with Mark trying to keep the household afloat.
Waikato
On the 1st of April 2020, Stef was diagnosed with Stage 3C1 cervical cancer.
Stef and her fiancé Mark have experienced a hard, tough road over the past 18 months with a troublesome pregnancy and the traumatic birth of their first child Skylar. They then spent a total of eight weeks in NICU at Waikato Hospital where Skylar underwent surgery at three weeks of age, and was diagnosed with severe Laryngomalacia, Tracheomalacia and Bronchomalacia until she’s five years old.
They will now have to battle this next stage in life while trying to bring up a very sick nine month old baby.
All money raised from this page will go towards Stef’s treatment, transportation, head coverings or wig (possibly), rent, and bill costs as Mark is a sole trader and the only household earner.
Mark will be dividing his time trying to continue running his business, spending a lot of time helping his sick baby, and now sick fiancé.
Stef will soon undergo a hard, brutal treatment of internal and external radiation therapy, and a tough course of chemotherapy as it’s her Oncology team’s one and only shot of getting rid of her cancer.
If this round of treatment isn’t successful, Stef’s been advised she’ll only have 12-18 months to survive.
Stef has been a friend of mine for quite some time. I meet Stef when she moved to Cambridge many years ago now and I am trying to help her and her family as they go through a difficult journey ❤️
All money raised will go towards costs of private scans, complimentary and alternative medicines.
Money will also go towards a wig, head coverings and transportation costs.
As times are going to get tough money will also go towards household bills.
