The 2021 parade is going ahead! Help us bring it to the rest of the world
Auckland
The annual St Patrick's Parade needs the backing of the Irish community.
From humble origins in 1995, a team of volunteers have worked tirelessly to grow the parade to become the largest in the Southern Hemisphere with more 50 floats and thousands of spectators.
Thanks to your donations earlier this year and our sponsors, we have now secured funding for the 2021 parade to go ahead. New Zealand is in the privileged position of having an in-person event this year and we have received queries from Irish overseas who would like to watch the parade live!
If you are overseas and want to help us broadcast this event live on March 13 please donate what you can.
The St Patrick's Festival Auckland is the largest Irish festival in the Southern Hemisphere. The festival has been running for more than 25 years and relies heavily on volunteers and sponsorship.
Funds will be used to cover the costs of the parade, from traffic management to the hiring of costumes, equipment, paying for musicians and marketing for the event to take place.
Parade gets go-ahead for 2021 9 February 2021
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and the Irish community we have secured enough funding for this year's Hugh Green Group St Patrick's Parade. If you would like to donate to us to ensure the future viability of the St Patrick's Festival we welcome your donations. Thank you! Go raibh míle maith agaibh go léir
