Help Stratos & Family

    stratos is on the mend and doing so much better. He had a another vet visit last week to get his weight and check his stitches which all looked good, we got some more medication to keep the virus at bay. Today we went back for another visit and have gained 2.3grams in weight is is fabulous. We had a injection for anti inflammatory and had our stiches removed. Stratos is eating more everyday. He will be on meds for sometime to make sure the virus is gone. We have along way to go healing wise but the worst is behind us.

    Stratos was quite "flat" today vet said until sharn turned up with his usual cat food from home which he quickly ate. Lots of loves with mum today. He had a test done today as his drain is still draining fluid.

    Vet thought maybe it was urine and he might have a leak in his bladder but would be surprised if it was. They are trying every avenue to find where the fluid is coming from. They have sent a sample away and will find out results tomorrow arvo. Today is the first time he's stood up in over a week.
