Nationwide

We have been interacting with this particular colony for a couple of weeks now. Have managed to trap one, but the other 8 know exactly what a trap is so are very trap shy, even before tea time! So we are currently interacting with them daily in the hopes of being able to get close enough to capture them soon.

About us

Update for 20/07/2014  20 July 2014

Thank you to everyone that donated, we successfully captured 9 cats from the colony we were watching, all have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, flead and wormed. 7 have gone to fantastic new homes, 2 still waiting for their forever homes! We could not be happier with the outcome! Thank you again everybody :)

I was extremely happy to read of your recent article in The Courier newspaper and hear of the wonderful work your group is doing. Stray cats in Timaru is a huge and sad problem, we have rescued several over the past years ourselves from the back alley near our shop. My cat is a rescued stray kitty. Have also recently helped my father out on his farm to trap a cat and her kittens. Mama cat has been spayed and released and the four kittens all have great homes. So therefore I completely understand and so appreciate the work that you are all doing and am more than happy to donate as way of support.
