My dear work colleague and friend sadly had a stroke a few weeks ago, she has had surgery and is currently still in hospital. She was only 39, very young and fit. Unfortunately ACC does not cover strokes. Her family lives in the Phillipines, so only her and her husband are in New Zealand. She is the most kind caring person I know. And her and her partner will now be suffering financially. She is a support worker for the disabled along side with me. She needs as much funds as possible to support her with her rehabilitation, rent and food costs. Please help
