Bring Geo to New Zealand

  • Update for 03/11/2010

      3 November 2010

Hello all, First off, sorry for the delay. ?The last few days have been quite long. I've not heard anything back from Give-a-little regarding the option of distributing the funds back to a closed cause that didn't reach it's target. ?When calling the office the machine lets you know the business hours of the office (which I called within) and instructed you to send this sort of enquiry to the support address (which I did, twice) which appears to go unanswered. So, the only option left to me is to set up a new cause. This time without a target limit. The end of this is after the tour, but knowing there are funds available will make it easier to get funds up front from the NZ Skeptics Society to cover the cost of the tour. I'm asking that if you donated previously that you take that money, that is currently sitting in your Give-a-little account, and put it towards the ""https://www.givealittle.co.nz/cause/styrofoam2""Still bringing Geo to New Zealand Regards, Gold NZ Skeptics in the Pub

  • Hmm...

      31 October 2010

Hey all, The e-mail I received from Give-a-little stated that donators had the option of distributing their funds to this organisation or back to their Give-a-little account. ?As a donator to this I'm stumped as to how to do that though. ?I've e-mailed support and will wait until midday Monday for a reply. If there isn't one by then I'll phone them. At this point though, the only option I'm seeing is opening another cause, this one without a target. I'll keep you informed.

  • Final Update for 31/10/2010

      31 October 2010

Hello all The time limit on this cause has just reached it's closing date. ?Unfortunately, due to the way I constructed the cause, seeing as we didn't reach the target amount the funds have been moved back into your Give-A-Little accounts. You now have the option either move these funds back to the Styrofoam Tour cause or redistribute them to other causes as you see fit. Personally I'm putting my funds towards the Styrofoam Tour. :) ?I'd be grateful if you would do the same. Regards, Gold.

      29 October 2010

The official site is almost ready. ?Just have to theme the site and it's ready to launch. The href=""http://thestyrofoamtour.org/event/christchurch-nz"">Christchurch event page is ready to go though and I ask that you go there now to sign up to the event. ?We're going with a $5 cover charge and everyone that has already donated has made it possible to keep it at this level. ?Your spots, at least in the Christchurch gig, are also secured, you just need to signup there so we can get your name on the list and track numbers accurately. Thank you all for making this possible.
