Sue was diagnosed with melanoma 6 years ago, a battle she's facing with immense courage. Sue’s spirit remains unbroken, but her fight against this relentless disease requires a powerful weapon: BRAF treatment.
Sue's journey began in December 2017. Despite surgeries and treatments, the disease spread to her lungs, kidneys, neck, and brain, revealing her relentless fight. Now, her specialist recommends immediate BRAF treatment (Cobimetinib and Vemurafenib), groundbreaking therapy targeting genetic mutations.

Update from Sue's daughters 30 July 2024
Thank you for all the generous donations and best wishes for mums health. Mums tumours shrunk as a result of the medication but due to it impacting her renal function she has changed to a different combination of chemo drugs and is funding these instead. This change has only occurred in recent weeks and we hope that she will be able to tolerate these meds with good results. She is immune compromised as a result of the treatment and is currently in hospital recovering from influenza & pneumonia and is showing signs of improvement so will hopefully be home again soon. Thank you from Sue's daughters.
