Support dragon boating breast cancer survivors from Christchurch competing in France in Aug 26 alongside the global breast cancer community.
Christchurch, Canterbury
Abreast of Life is a dragon boat team from Christchurch made up of breast cancer survivors who paddle together in strength, resilience, and a celebration of life. More than just a sport, dragon boating empowers us to reclaim our bodies, find community, and show the world that life after breast cancer is vibrant and full.
In August 2026, our team will proudly represent Christchurch at the International Breast Cancer Paddlers’ Commission (IBCPC) Festival in Aix-les-Bains, France. A global gathering of survivor teams from around the world. This once-in-a-lifetime event is a chance to honour our individual journeys, connect with an international community of survivors, and inspire others with hope and courage.
We need your help to get there. Your support will go directly toward travel, equipment, and accommodation costs, allowing our team to share our message of strength and survivorship on the world stage.
We paddle for the survivors.
We paddle for those still fighting.
We paddle for those we have lost.
Please consider supporting Abreast of Life as we paddle towards France 2026!
