Hello!
Moses and myself are now back home in Tasmania and we'd like to give everyone a quick update on what was achieved by Acholi Resilience in Northern Uganda over the summer.
Two culverts and a new road were put in once it became clear the original proposed site for the culvert was not feasible. The Acholi Resilience farm now has access for vehicles, year round, which led to the clearing and ploughing of the farm, ready for planting once the rain begins to fall again.
3 bore holes have been drilled around the property, bringing clean water to a community that, previously needed to travel 8km just to be able to buy it!
Work also began on a storage facility for harvested grain.
