Support Bianca and their children in the wake of Alf’s sudden and devastating passing
Auckland
It was mother's day, Sunday 14 May 2023, when Alfred George Manu tragically passed away - suddenly and unexpectedly - in front of his two youngest boys Ioane and Khan, and his loving partner Bianca. Alf was 53 years old.
We are asking for your kind contributions to support Bianca and the children during this difficult time, to help them manage the costs of being left suddenly alone without their father/partner and to help them financially as they attempt to move forward through their grief.
Alf has lived in Rarotonga for the last 25 years and has shared his life with Bianca for the last 20 years. Alf and Bianca lived together in their home in Rarotonga that they built together. They lived a life of fun and laughter throughout the years, and treasured their family time together. Their two young boys were born during that time and their older shared children spent time in the home too - Rhys, Darren and Tiani. They were a beautiful blended family who all cared for and loved each other.
Alf was also a star in the world of rugby league. The morning he passed, he and the family were celebrating the high of Alf having coached his son Ioane's rugby league team - the Under 14 Ngatangiia league premiers - to win the Grand Final, just the day before.
On the morning he departed this world and in his final moments, Alf wished Bianca a happy Mother’s Day with a kiss and went to make her a coffee. He was surrounded by Bianca and their boys and they were happy, content, and together.
