Support Ang's new heart.

    The donations that you have so generously provided throughout this year have lifted some of the load, particularly from James's shoulders as they carry the costs of providing the support person for Ang when she travels to Auckland for appointments.

    She has made a very good recovery from her heart transplant. She has though, had a setback as the biopsy in November damaged one of the valves in her heart and she has to go back for more open heart surgery in the future.

    In the meantime she has been able to join in across all areas of her life and be an active parent, a devoted friend and dutiful daughter and sister. Here is a photo of her, centre, with her sister and father.

  • Out Enjoying Life

    One of Ang's passions in life, after family, is Steampunk. Thanks to her new heart she was once more able to thoroughly engage in the Steampunk NZ Festival. Having many outfits is all part of the party!

  • 6 Months Later

    Thank you for the generous donations that have been made up to now.

    Ang says, "6 months post transplant:

    liver and kidney function is improved by 50 %,

    thyroid has improved by 30%

    I am able to do all basic home tasks.

    Biopsies every 7 weeks at Greenlane, Auckland, til the middle of next year, if all goes well.

    My family and I are so very grateful 💖
