A dedicated nurse to her community, Anna is now facing Motor Neuron Disease and needs support to create precious memories with her family.
Halswell, Christchurch
Anna has spent the last 38 years as a dedicated nurse, giving her heart and skills to care for the community. She has comforted patients, supported families, and been there for so many people in their most vulnerable moments.
Now, Anna faces her own battle. She has sadly been diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND) – a devastating illness that doctors say will progress quickly.
Despite this heartbreaking news, Anna’s dream is simple and beautiful: to spend as much precious time as possible with her family and to tick off some bucket list wishes before she is unable to do so. She has had to resign from her position to prioritise her family.
We want to help Anna live these moments fully.
Anna was previously a very avid cyclist and adventurer and would walk the Halswell Quarry almost daily. Unfortunately with her health failing she is unable to do this now.
Every dollar raised will go directly to making Anna’s remaining time brighter, meaningful, and filled with love, any remaining funds will be used to support her family when the time comes.
Anna has given so much to others through her nearly four decades of nursing. Now, we invite you to give back to her. 💙
👉 Please donate if you can, and share Anna’s story so we can help her make the most of the time she has left.
