Please Support Baby Neiko and his parents as he bravely fights Leukaemia Battle!!
Hamilton, Waikato
Our beautiful nephew, Neiko who is only 2 years old has just been diagnosed with high-risk B acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Only two weeks ago, we laid Neiko’s Aunty Estha to rest, and just days after returning home on Thursday the 20th of November Neiko was rushed to Starship Children’s Hospital and on Monday 24th of November our family received this heartbreaking diagnosis.
On the evening of Monday 24th of November Neiko has begun his journey with chemotherapy, and as many will understand, the road ahead is uncertain. While we remain hopeful and strong for him, this is a time filled with fear, love, and unanswered questions.
We have created this page in the hope of raising funds to support our siblings Mckeilah and Tasa so they can take the time they need to be by Neiko’s side for however long it takes. He is currently in Starship Hospital until further notice, and your support will help relieve the financial pressure during this incredibly difficult time so they can focus completely on their precious boy.
Any contribution, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated. Thank you for keeping Neiko and our family in your thoughts and prayers.

Update on Neiko’s Cancer Journey 7 December 2025
Our boy has now completed two weeks of chemotherapy and has handled everything with incredible strength. He’s also had two lumbar punctures to check for cancer cells and receive chemo directly into his spinal fluid, along with one immunotherapy session.
After 12 days at Starship, we’ve been discharged and are now staying at Ronald McDonald House, returning to the hospital weekly for treatment. The team has been amazing, and we’re so grateful for all the support around us. If his progress continues, there’s hope he may be transferred back to Waikato for treatment by December 22nd. We’re holding onto that possibility and taking things one day at a time.
Thank you all for your love, generosity, and support—it truly keeps us going 💛
