Support Camryn & family to beat her tumors

On the 15th April 2020 Camryn had an MRI to find out why she was having constant headaches and vomiting, only to find the cause was a large tumour on her brain. She was flown to Starship Hospital in Auckland and underwent surgery the next day. The surgery was successful but preliminary results on 22/4/20 showed that Camryn has a form of cancer called Ependymoma which are rare type of primary brain or spinal cord tumours.

There are two bits remaining they are needing to do radiation on (radiation TBC).

One is a small mass left over from the tumour they have already removed plus the other mass they discovered in the MRI that is in a high risk area to operate on. They will attempt surgery if needed before chemo is discussed.

I will continue to update this as we know more.

There will be lots of travel to Auckland, nights and days away from home and away from Ragnar, food and drink while away and probably a lot of other unforeseen costs. All this upon general living costs with time off work and loss of income adds financial stress to their situation.

Financial help and heartfelt support is all we can provide these guys.

With that in mind we decided to set this page up for those who feel the same way.

We don't have a monetary goal or limit to get to, we just know that any help Marni and Dylan receive during this time will be greatly appreciated by them, even if it's just to take the extra worry off of basic every day costs while they spend their time supporting Camryn.

Once Camryn gets through this she will definitely deserve a treat of fun family time - especially after being isolated during Level 4 Lockdown too.
