Good news! First phase is complete.

We got news today that the funding for the treatment has been approved! Now we just have to have some meetings with the London treatment team scheduled.

From there they will set dates and organise flights.

We can only guess when that might happen at this stage, so hopefully packing summer clothes is still the right thing to do.

Thank you everyone who have contributed and are yet to contribute, for holding the space for the success of this part of the journey.

Dan has to have ankle surgery when he gets back too so your support is gratefully received and will help him worry less about how to manage everything when he gets back from London too.

Still waiting for dates

I was hoping we might have heard any day now so I could have something substantial to update with so I have been holding off. I didn't want to hold off any longer before updating. So the current situation is we remain in a holding pattern of not knowing when, which I think is the more stressful part of the experience.

Dan has been overwhelmed with gratitude for the people who have come forward and it has helped him relive some memories of travels around the country.

He is the kind of guy who will give the last shirt off his back to help anyone in need. Please continue to share his story with people you know might be old clients of his. He loves the stories and memories of where kids are now, who had ponies he was able to help.
