Financial support for my family
Auckland
Good day, everyone.
My name is Efren Barba, and I am 43 years old. I have been working in New Zealand for almost two years. I have two children, a 9-year-old here with me in NZ, and a 15-year-old who is currently in high school in the Philippines.
To make a long story short, something unexpected happened. Early Tuesday morning (4 August) at around 5am, I woke up to my wife Criselda screaming. When I tried to wake her, she was no longer responding. Everything happened so suddenly. We immediately called an ambulance, and the emergency responders performed CPR while we were still at home before taking her to Auckland Hospital.
Criselda has since been in critical condition and undergone two brain function tests. The doctors have now told us there is no brain activity and once we take her off the life support machines she will pass. We will say goodbye to our beautiful wife & Mum at 5pm today (Thursday 6 August).
We are now facing significant expenses to repatriate her body to the Philippines, along with other related costs. With humble hearts, we are reaching out to ask for your prayers and any financial assistance you may be able to offer during this incredibly difficult time.
Any amount, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated and will help ease the burden on our family.
Thank you very much for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
All funds will go towards Repatriation and flights to the Philippines
