Support for Cara, Rylee and Flynn – In Memory of Paul Claridge

Paul Claridge passed away suddenly at home, surrounded by his family. His loss has left his partner Cara and their children, Rylee and Flynn, heartbroken, and it has sent shockwaves through everyone lucky enough to have known him.

Paul was Cara’s best friend, her rock and her soul mate. To Rylee and Flynn he was Dad. To the rest of us he was a workmate, a mentor and a mate who was always there.

Paul spent his working life in the air or on the road. He had more than 10,000 flying hours over his career, and he was one of the most skilled and respected pilots in the agricultural and aviation community. His experience and passion for flying were second to none. Farmers, operators and fellow pilots across Southland and beyond worked alongside him and trusted him. His loss will be felt well beyond the hangar.

None of this was part of the plan. Cara, Rylee and Flynn now face a future without Paul and a road nobody should have to walk. We’ve set up this page so the wider community can wrap around them. Every donation will go directly to the family and will help with navigating this extremely tough time.
