Fundraiser for a Cuddle Cot for families to use after baby loss.
Christchurch, Canterbury
Three years ago, our baby died during labour and we were fortunate enough to be able to spend a few days at home with our beautiful little girl. This was only possible because we were able to borrow a Cuddle Cot from Christchurch Women's Hospital. We think that every family should have the option of spending time at home with their precious baby when the worst possible has happened.
In March I'll be shaving my head to raise funds for an additional Cuddle Cot for Christchurch Women's Hospital, meaning that families can spend more time with their baby. Here's an article if you're interested in how a Cuddle Cot works: https://www.southernhealth.nz/publications/new-cuddle-cots-support-grieving-parents-and-whanau-blessed-dunedin.
Our memories of being at home with our baby are so special and important to us, and my hope is that no family misses out on this. Whether you want to donate, share, or even shave your head with me in March, I'd love your support.
All money raised will go towards purchasing a Cuddle Cot for Christchurch Women's Hospital.
