Support for Jacob and his family

Jacob has the biggest heart, has a great sense of humour and an outgoing personality. Jacob is also much loved twin to Shaney and they are the youngest of our family.

In October 2020, Jacob was diagnosed with Goodpastures syndrome a rare (one in a million) autoimmune disease that causes inflammation of the small blood vessels in the kidneys and lungs.

Jacob has been in Auckland Hospital CVICU unit for 34 days. Unfortunately since his time on life support /ECMO Jacob has developed an infection in his left lung, pneumonia and severe bleeding leaving him in a life threatening position. He is continuing to fight this horrible disease and we as a whanau would love to be with him every step of the way.

This family is strong but the future is somewhat uncertain. Any donation of any size, be it small or large will enable his family to spend every minute by his side.
