Support for Jarom after his serious accident in Bali

  • An Update from the Guillonta whānau

      13 June 2026

Late this week, we finally brought Jarom home to New Zealand by air ambulance. He is currently in an induced coma in the Intensive Care Unit. While he is also battling pneumonia, which adds another complex layer to his treatment, our focus is entirely on his recovery and rehabilitation. We won't know the full extent of his injuries until he is able to respond, the road ahead remains long, challenging, and uncertain.

Our whānau are taking things one day at a time.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We truly could not have made it this far without the incredible outpouring of love, support, and kindness you have all shown us.

Great news to hear he’s home in NZ. I will keep praying for healing over Jarome in Jesus name. Also for God to continue to help provide financial assistance to support the family.

Firstly, we would like to sincerely thank everyone for the incredible love, support, messages, and generosity shown to our whānau. We are truly overwhelmed by the kindness.

Due to the reach of this page, a number of organisations and agencies have reached out offering support and assistance.

Jarom remains in a critical condition in ICU in Bali, with the full extent of his injuries still unknown. We are in discussions regarding his repatriation to New Zealand which has now become an urgent priority.

    Much love
