Supporting Jock and his whanau as he recovers from nerve damage.
Taranaki
Jock was rushed off to Wellington for emergency surgery on the 4th November, and has a long recovery from nerve damage ahead.
It would mean the world to us if you were able to support us. I hate asking for help. But here I am.
Having extra money for traveling to where he currently is in rehab in Christchurch, and being able to buy allergy safe foods while there with him. And being able to afford little pockets of joy as distraction at home (going to the a&p show or maybe the movies and things like that) would make it easier while he's away. And while we hope he's home for Christmas, there's no guarantees of that as yet. And possibly more surgery ahead too.
We appreciate any little token you're able to spare. x
Jock is my husband
We will spend money predominantly on travel related expenses (allergy safe foods, the actual travelling) and activities/distraction while we wait for his return.
Thank you all so much 5 December 2023
We would like to thank you all for you kind and generous support.
Because of this give a little, A and I we able to afford to go down to Christchurch and support Jock. Being able to do that really made a difference for us all.
We still have a bumpy journey ahead, and another surgery in the new year, but in the meantime Jocks coming home! We will all have to learn how best to support him and his new normal. So grateful he will be home for the holidays!
Thank you again for bringing a little light to our Whānau through this dark time.
